I've always face a problem in matching Transaction Id Nos.

    I've always face a problem in matching Transaction Id Nos. while getting payment through Paypal.

    For example, as I've received $75 from Unique Transaction Id # xyz65386LA8517xyz

    But the Sender has informed me that he/she sent the money and the Transaction Id # is xyz00424S91548xyz

    Can anybody help me and let me know why this difference is happened in Transaction Id numbers?

    Actually I need to know exact confirmation that I have received the payment from the correct person.

    Hope the experts should guide me properly.

    Paypal transaction ID are different for Seller and Buyer...... they never match

    Not sure why PP does this but this is the case since long time...

    If transaction IDs are different for Seller and Buyer, then how we can verify this payment came from a specific sender ? as sometime so many payments came at a time and usually most of the senders informed about the sent payment with the Unique Transaction Id #.
