I found this web site http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/ one simple download and most ads are blocked including AdSense so clicking an ad by mistake is no longer a problem.

Or one can add this line to the hosts file:
    127.0.0.2 pagead2.googlesyndication.com
it can be disabled with a # in front of it to see ads when you want to.

Great tip, New Jersey Home Inspector.

I'll add that line to the hosts file. Thanks.

Hmm, on second thought, it will block ads on other site as well. Maybe I'll have to find another way.

Those "sites you like" will make you beg and cry for long to get your account back to life. Stop before you are banned friend.

I do something similar. I use the adblock extension for Firefox to block all my ads.

    Google is fair.

If you notice an ad that you like and click it I don't think they'll bother you, but if you click it several times, then there is a problem.

    Peace,

I noticed this alot on DP, no strict moderation for foul language.

Things like this would get you banned on other respectable forums.

What can you expect from kids nowadays?

    Peace,

Not saying that **** is such a bad word, but what you are saying is that in general you can do anything you like until somebody tells you to stop ? Thats not grown up strategy.

Im not saying that at all, Im just saying i am not going to stop doing something, simply becuase 1 person doesn't like it, especially if that person has no authority around here, like myself.....

I read the rules when i joined, and i certainly didnt see anything that says bad language isn't allowed (i hate calling it bad language, for the reason that theres nothing acutally bad about it)

oh btw, thanks for the red whoever it was, hope it was worth it :)

If you would have blocked Adsense in your hosts file then this wouldn't have happened. Add a shortcut to Hosts for those moments that you want to preview your ads by commenting out two lines. Life can be so simple.

My personal experience: I right-clicked on the text of ad accidentally and the page started to load. Immediately I close the browser and disconnect from the Internet. I think GA didn't count the click since I was fast enough the stop loading it.

I just discovered that GA allows us to actually right-click on the title of our own ad to find the url of the ad. Read here.

I might have used bitter language but at appropriate time. If acting mature and sound means that I am better than everyone else, then let me be me.

Acting disrespectful to others is surely an act of children/teenagers (which I assume you are).

Let me teach you something that life haven't taught you yet: Not everything is done because you are allowed to do it or not.

If you live in a society where you are allowed to rape others, you surly won't do it, even the fact that you are allowed to exist.

This forum might not have strict rules about being arrogant, but I am sure it has some sort COPPA policy which I think somehow you bypassed it, or maybe you didn't, to which then I hope your parents might read this thread and give you a nice ol spanking.

    Peace,

Well said:) That is why I try to be vegetarian.

Allthough one of the things I like about this board is the lack of strict & nazi-style moderation & censorship which is so prevelant at other forums like WHT.

You assume wrong, and the fact that you compare me swearing with raping someone just shows how much your blowing this out of proportion. I didn't do it becuase i'm allowed, i did it because i wanted to. Plain and Simple. If it was against the rules, it would be a different story, but its not, so stop whining and get on with your life.

Lol, swearing doesn't make you a child if it's used in proper context. You should grow up and let him be.

Infact here's a good Penn & Teller: Bullshit episode, it's on profanity. I suggest you watch it. ;) - Click
