I just bought myself an iPod nano 8GB, and I'm all happy but I come to find that my iTunes wont install, I get a stupid error.

iTunes could not be installed because VisualBasic Script (VBScript) is not installed or has been disabled. Make sure VB script is installed, turn off script blocking software in anti-virus and personal firewall software, re-register VBScript, and then install iTunes.

I go to the stupid iTunes page and find a sollution! That dosent work ¬_¬.

    Anyone else experienced this?

    I tried the cmd "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" but I get the error "0x8004005"

    I want my iPod!

    Thanks,

    -Hecky

Aww come on! I've been trying for about 5 hours now! It's just giving me the same error. Whats more it works on my laptop, but If I assign my iPod to my laptop then I can't use it on my PC.

Please, I really need some help? I've looked everywhere around the internet and nothing works.

    Thanks

Do you need Itunes to download music or just to put the music onto the ipod?
If you already have music downloaded on your PC, then foget Itunes and use WinAmp. is free and easy to download and you can eaily put music onto the ipod

Yes, check the media library on Winamp and plug the iPod into the USB and it should appear on there. Then add the music files by creating a playlist and then send playlist with the songs on to the Ipod.

Alright, problem is over, I've just done it on my laptop. I would have preffered it on my PC, but you can't have everything with Apple.
