It's your JOB as a politician to "complain"..

Many of the closet fascists here ridicule Paul for "complaining". Allow me to enlighten you on why it is his job to do so. Here's an analogy..

America is a car, a car with a decent amount of miles on it and it has many parts on it that are falling apart (i'm no auto mechanic but i'll wing it). Obviously you KNOW that you need to fix it or you will have a completely broken car (America). The owner (Americans) take it to an auto body (political candidates) for repair. It's their choice on who they pick, but they have 2 general choices..

there's the guy who won't recognize any problems and say "well there's really nothing wrong with your car at all, you have a great car, just great. if we were to make any changes to it we would ruin it's identity. But!.. we can take your car for a few days and toy around with it to make you feel happy!"

then there's the guy who recognizes the problem, "you have X wrong and Y wrong and this is how it works. now that you know what is wrong with your car, I will do my job to fix it."

and I know some people on this forum will try to say "ah huh! you proved yourself wrong, because the second repairman would make up false problems just to make you pay".

That WOULD work, however his supporters know his issues and what he is "complaining" about and what he plans to fix. That auto body tactic only works on people who don't know anything about cars.

Also, there are 2 types of "complainers". There's the people who recognize a problem, "complain" about it - but at the same time deliver a solution.

Then there are the people like sean hannity, michael savage and a lot of times glenn beck who simply complain for 3 hours a day plus an hour on TV. what solutions do they offer? none. you gotta read their books to find out..

Bush has doubled the national debt. And worse than that, it's not money we owe to ourselves, but he has basically put America in debt to China and Japan.

He sold us out, intentionally or not, his Presidency will go down as a catastrophic failure, from not preventing 9/11, to not catching Bin Laden, destroying the goodwill that Reagan created internationally, torture, erosion of civil liberties, scandal, to the war in Iraq, to the destruction of the dollar on exchange markets by inflationary monetary policy and reckless fiscal policy.

The only good Bush did was veto SCHIP.

The next good thing he is going to do is he is leaving The Oval Office in 2008, counting down to that and keeping my fingers cross that he don't bomb any other countries.

Not exactly sure what a closet fascist is.. Sounds like a Chavez supporter to me..

Anyway, no one is ridiculing Paul, and I don't think anyone considers him as "complaining"... Myself, I just find that he comes off sounding like a raving lunatic.

When a young Hitler returned from WWI, he sounded quite similar when on his soap box. This is not ridicule. Just an observation.

Mia's favorite technique in the absence of a sound argument is to either slander or neg rep.

For guerilla, claiming to have someone on ignore instead of reallying doing it says worlds about his integrity, or lack there of...

The only people I give red rep to routinely are those that ether bitch about rep here publicly, or claim that I have given them negative rep...

I've not slandered anyone here. Please give me an example of where you think I slandered someone.
