    hello,

    http://www.1up-seo.com

    1)
from a marketing-perspective for my service.
If you see my first page...and how would you rate it in terms of "how good would it sell"

    2)
from a content, web2.0 and blogging persepctive....for someone who is interested in SEO. How is the bloggin quality/layout etc of my blog entries ?

    4)
From a design perspective....colors, navigation, general look and feel. does it look trusty, would a potential customer purchase any of my services ? Where do i need to improve...eg. colors, logo etc.

    5)
    Anything important missing ?

General impression the site makes for bloggers (potential adsense revenue) and serious "customers", which can either purchase SEO services or translations

    thanks !!!

The site gives a good impression of what it's about right away. The design is not the most organized I have seen, but it is not bad. However, I would definitely change the logo and the Google Pack images. They look very outdated to me.

    Hope that helps. Good luck.

Overall, I think your site has a personality disorder. It's simultaneously trying to be a blog and to sell a service. If you want to sell a service, limit the number of outbound links -- otherwise perfectly good clients may follow a link to another blog, to one of your blogposts, to HostGator, etc.

I think you're right to focus on the need to get your customers' trust. I'd recommend that you offer them a 30-minute phone consultation for free. Give them a chance to talk to you in person and get to know you. Much easier to close a sale at that point. I'd also move some of your customer testimonials onto the homepage.

    Good luck!

interesting advice there. I might keep my blog-entries away from the main page.
