    Its time to penalize google.

I have 4 sites. I am not selling any links on any of my site. No spam. 3 of my sites were PR3 and one PR4 two months ago. Google update PR and my 3 sites get penalized by google and page rank was dropped to 2. In recent google update google penallized my PR4 site and set it's PR to 3. One site get PR -1 or N/A.

I am very much depressed. Now its time to take revenge from google. I am going to sell links on all of my sites. All links in my blogs will be do follow. I know i am very small tiny webmaster in front of google but this is my way to take revenge from google. If Google dose not respect me than i will also not respect google.

    Good Luck lmao

everyone is saying the same thing. Suggest you continue to work hard and ask you not to fall into the "Bad webmaster category" there are enough web masters out there who dont care.

You are not penalized by Google if your PR just dropped, maybe you should consider building more links ;)
Links = PR... so you might lose some of your important backlinks, or the linking pages had dropped as well !

Google did not penalize you. This Toolbar PR export is severely flawed, to say the least. You can look around how new pages, some that are not even indexed in Google Search, have gained PR. Here's a link to one of those topics.

New pages not indexed getting PR and established and popular sites losing PR tells me something is out of whack with this PR update. But if this is the new PR algorithm, PR can no longer be trusted as it is severely flawed...

Why do you care about pagerank? You should care about traffic.

Even if you amass hundreds of thousands of backlinks I don't think Google will increase your PR. Google has never managed to fix his PR algorithm ; they should get rid of it at once.

well, this PR update was actually better than the last one, so maybe google is on the right track

maybe the sites you are talking about that got adjusted down were fairly new sites that were over-PR'ed in the last update (which was a real schmozzle)

this update actually made alot more sense than the previous one

Perhaps there is something else about your Website that needs fixing? How often is the content updated, have your competitors surpassed you in aspects of their sites, etc?

PR is important, I have had sites denied when I applied for a good advertising company because the PR was not high enough, even though the site had good traffic.

Man, it may not be a penalization at all. If some of your sites that link to you drop in PR, the collective PR they offer to your site will also drop. which means you got a PR if from 40 blogs of PR4, then if 10 of them drop to PR0, then don't you think your PR will also drop? Google is not to be blamed. Also, selling links is not the only blackhat technique out there. Look at your blog carefully for anything wrong.

I had a similar experience. I hope you're right that it's just my web tool bar. I use SEOQuake. Any suggestion of where I can check PR?

The only way to penalize Google is to stop using their search and advertising. But good luck to you.

This is part true and part not, the links will indeed help with traffic if rated by pr or not, they are linking to your site. So get some links down!
