it's time for a mod to post a sticky

I think it's time for a mod to post a sticky that all posts in this forum containing screenshots of clickbank sales must also offer advice or contribute to the knowledge and success of other clickbank users in some way. I'm sorry if I played a roll in starting this all.

falafelfro - you were reading my mind.

Too many people on DP post numbers. Then they either keep gloating about their big numbers or they disappear from the thread altogether.

If you brag, fine. But give a little back to the community while doing so.

He read my mind too. I mean, I was just looking at his screen shots and I was like, I would do that if I had money for PPC.... but I don't.

I swear I have read so much on affiliate marketing, yet I can't make any sales.

I know how you feel. Just 3 months ago I thought I d never go PPC - I was broke. Then I forced myself to write articles after articles - now I've got a budget for PPC (which I am currently spending on PPC).

    Good Luck,

    Alex

    That's a good idea.

Although I am sure people will work around that and advise people to simply pick good product, write articles, use some PPC and a landing page and that is it.

I want to open an affiliate platform and I am going to start affiliate marketing just to know what it takes to be a good marketer and offer good features to my future affiliates. I'd love to give them the tools to generate big $$. I am suprise clickbank doesn't do more to help their newbies. There is a gap for a more "caring" and professional affiliate market place.

There should also be a sticky for Clickbank beginners as well, because too many people ask how to start.

The biggest problem with this idea, imho, is there are too many DP'ers that know how to use photoshop and give cloaked advice.

I've got a feeling it might sorta kill this section though, as those threads, though appearing to be pointless do spark some good discussion.

    I disagree,
The screenshots do not have to be viewd in such ways, but as inspiration to members and visiotors who are interested in starting to promote clickbank products,.

lol... to make a comparison posting a screenshot of your earnings and not giving any tips is like eating a 3 course meal in front of somebody starving to death and not sharing your food...

The guy starving to death may be inspired but the guy eating is definitely a d*ck!

I think sharing success is great (as long as it is shared both literally and figuratively). Don't just share stats, but also some of the strategies to achieve them.

again. i disagree. i am talking INSPIRATION.
In the cases that someone tries clickbank and fails, and than sees your amazing screenshots, he will try again and be inspired to get to where you got.
In a case of a forum visitor / member, who never tried clickbank b4, and wants to see real results and $ made by others - by seeing screenshots (with or without tips) - one will be INSPIRED to start clickbank.
Of course adding tips is cool and all, but i do not believe is necessary.

    But personally, i don't care.
(I'm the kind of person who like to argue)

Or inspiration to make their own photoshopped screenshots so they trick newbies into buying their crap too?

Exactly, they just make a thread "i earned $$$ in X days" and post screenshot(99% fake) and when u ask them how they did it,they will redirect u their ebook (99% it will be in his own signature link).

Yes, sharing success is great, but it doesn't necessarily needs to be with a screenshot of earnings.

    Tips, advice, techniques, that's ok.

I think earnings screenshots are fine when used to support techniques being discussed.

For instance, if someone wanted to show how a certain strategy succeeds and was asked to show proof, then fine.

Otherwise, the only time you should see screenshots is when someone is trying to sell something. In that case, they need to go to the Buy and Sell forum.
