So as Thanksgiving is passing, and the Christmas holidays are driving forward, it looks like it'll be a deep fluctuation for article sales these next couple weeks. I love Christmas and all, but it's a bit difficult in making my regular sales during the holiday season. Anyone else experience a decrease in sales during this time of year?
I'd think there be more demand for certain types of articles. Maybe an article on choosing the best gifts for christmas or where to travel this holiday season or such. Adapt and try to gauge what types of articles will be in demand and switch to them.
I don't see any decrease. Demand is still steady as usual, as a matter of fact i think demand will increase in the coming time.
I'm usually slow the week before Thanksgiving, and then starting Black Friday (today) orders start flowing in like crazy. This is one of my busiest times of year, probably second only to after the 1st of the year where one particular type of writing always picks up quite a bit for me.
It's not a "niche," and no, and I'm not willing to share details that would encourage others to jump on it just for the demand. Too many unqualified folks in that area as it is.
Maybe you should disclose a fake niche so some unqualified and uninformed writers will jump on that niche and give breathing space for the better writers elsewhere.
I'm extremely busy, and having a little trouble working the life/ work balance. I have an evil gnome in my head right around this time that just makes me want to shirk duties and instead run around drinking Starbucks and enjoying Christmas lights, fireplaces, bad T.V. and Christmas music. Gotta get that gnome under control!
Glad to know it's not just me - when you have to schedule "White Christmas" and present wrapping among your other obligations, you know you're in trouble. LOL
Thanks for the advice. I'll try to gauge new article topics that might be more in demand during this time and year.
There's no time for the gnome. I needs to meet up with the Travelocity gnome and the Geico gecco and have a Holiday
