    Hi!

Yesterday i create an account to a ppc network! i was already use them as a publisher and i wanted to test also the traffic the network can generate for me as an advertiser! I've made a payment with a Visa card but the payment failed( somehow)!

After a few hours they send me a request for this data on my e-mail adress:

"To validate your card immediately, please fax your information to (xxx)xxx-xxxx. Alternatively, you can reply directly to this email with your scanned documentation as attachments.

    1. Coversheet detailing your username and email address
    2. Any physical statement, utility bill, or phone bill that verifies the name and billing address of the card
    3. Photocopy of the physical card
    4. Valid photo ID of the authorized user of the card"

It's safe to give this data to anybody this days?

I use that credit card very often to make payments online and nobody ask me this information till now!

Even google doesn't ask you for all these informations....
This looks more like queries from PayPal, they are the one who asks all these documents.

Be cautious ... to whom you send infos

I think u shouldn't give that information. It's too dangerous, and could be an abuse. may i know what ppc u have registered?

Just out of curiosity, what was the email address they asked you to send the information to. It seems strange. I would call them directly to discuss before sending anything.

Why would they want a picture of the credit card?

Yes PayPal have a sistem like that but ... is PayPal!Is big and can be trusted if they ask for some information!

When I've got the email i thought is a scamm and i want to delete the message but i remember i used my credit card just a few hours ago!

I'll stick to Adwords for the moment!
