It's Proved: Submit sitemap to Google for faster indexing

    Before I submitted my sitemap to Google, the bots used to crawl my site very 3-4 days. I tried increasing the crawl rate but that didn't help. Then I submitted my site map to Google. And now my articles get indexed within 1 hour. It's been just 3 days since I submitted the sitemap.

    So if you have still not submitted you website's sitemap then do it.

    I did not submit a sitemap, yet google crawled my site site the very day I submitted it, and infact now crawls it every 3 days.

    I think only need sitemap for big site, that has some links cannot find in homepage

    I totally agree, google crawls my site hourly since submitting a site map, dont know why so often, maybe google like me :D

    It's never worth the wait to start to get crawled by google! Even if there is no real connection between submitting it to google and when the first crawl happens, you should still do it anyways just in case! It's kind of one of those basic very quick to do seo type of things when you first launch a website.
