I received this as a msg so thought to share with you all ..

In ancient England people couldn't have sex without the permission of King. so to have a baby they had to get the King's consent to have sex. They were then given a card to hang on the door of their house while doing it. It said "Fornication Under Consent of the King" (FUCK) thus the work FUCK came into existence!

 

That's not knowledge, it's completely made-up.
It's an Anglo-Saxon word, probably of Scandinavian origin.
There was never a time when people in England needed 'a King's' permission to have sex.
