Its not about building, its all about gaining back links

    An expert SEO can easily create 100 back links with in couple of hours.. Wait wait.. An EXPERT SEO will never do that. He will sit, work on and will gain couple of relevant high quality back links.

    Its nice to say these words like relevant, high quality etc. But What actually is relevancy and quality of back links? And how we can gain some of them if we are ready to sit and work and actually gain them. ?

    You can buy 1000 awful backlinks for $100, but the only thing that will do is get you banned by google.
    or
    You can spend the time getting links in relevant blogs/websites that have a better page rank and are connected to your site's niche, which will, in the long-run, help your site's pagerank and give it a good reputation.

    As for how: Contact relevant people. Get others to write about your site. Here's one that could start a debate in the thread: Guest post.
    Guest posting won't help your pagerank, but it will increase awareness about your site.

    However important pagerank may be, a good reputation of your website is just as important.

    Some people say that give importance to whether the site is active and continuously updating more than page rank..

    I think If you are not a richest person then advertising via blog posting, forum posting is good for you to build a backlink.

    Help others and ask them to put your link on your website. There is no any other method to get lot of backlink within seconds.+

    Do you want links or people to visit your site? There is an important difference. My vote is for people visiting my site. To get that than you need to network. Contact other website owners. Comment on other blogs (thoughtfully). Post on forum like this one and put in a link back to your site (if you can).

    Treat it like a business, word of mouth and business cards! Put regular hours into working on your project, create a schedule and work on your website. Things will move and you will end up with your links and some traffic.
