    Hi.

That's it... I'm frustrated about adsense. It's almost impossible to make good money from adsense.

I have made $5 in almost 2 years. It's frustrating, isn't it? I have some websites, i have been building new website regarding differents topics and all i have are impressions but not a lot of clicks.

I know, of course, something is wrong, unless a lot of people are lying saying they have made $10,000 a month or $300 a day, but i doubt it.

I asked for help a lot but everyone say the same thing:

    - You have to increase your traffic.
    - No, no, not just any traffic, you have to look for real targeted traffic.
    - Change your niche.
    - Build hundreds and if possible thousands of websites.
    - Do SEO, investigate what you have to do about "meta-keywords" and "meta-description".
    - You have to have backlinks to your websites.... A LOT... Millions if possible.
    - Try to increase your PageRank, BTW, to do this you have to do the same things listed before.
    - Write new and original articles.
    - Make a blog, make a forum.... Make blah, blah, blah...
    - Advertise your sites in all other websites you can, even youtube, twitter, etc.
    - Don't give up. (LOL)

And just god knows the amount of things i heard i have to do to make real money in adsense...

Maybe you have any other suggestion, if you write it, let's see how can that help me, but the initial purpose of this thread is to let you know my frustration and that i'm kind of crazy now for all these adsense things.

    Thank you for reading this.

    Reinaldo.

Adsense can never provide you much money. It is just a side income for many of us including me. Don't be fustrated. There is many other things to try beside adsense, if your content is good. If not, you'll never be succeeded.

My record month was back in may 2010, so not long ago and I earned over $30,000 in this month, so about $1,000 per day. Now I'm back at a respectable amount always over $10,000 and I'm sure others earn so much more.
So what exactly do you want to know more about adsense. You say others gave you the advice of getting traffic, do you have some?
If not, then it's normal you don't get money, no?

For adsense all you need to care about is : traffic, ad placement (for CTR) and the niche (for not too low CPC)
All the rest you shouldn't care about. It's just traffic, CTR and CPC. But traffic is like 60%, ad placement 30% and nice/cpc only 10%.

For some reason I would love to see this guy succeed, I'm in my first month with Adsense and would hate to think this way in two years time.

Don't worry Deanny, you don't have to fail. But when I look at those two sites in your signature (just the topic, I didn't look at them) I'm saying you're targeting a too technical audience. You can earn adsense money of course, but for your next site try to think about it. Read my tips they are not long and perhaps for your next site you can do it very simple.

I know how you feel. After reading through a few threads, it seems that placement and how well the ads fit in with your page will have an impact. They need to blend.

Adsense is 'chump change'. Google makes BILLIONS a year from it. Strangely, they don't publicly state what percentage they pass on to you, and even stranger, there's no independent auditing of it.

Would you work for me if I said "Come work for me, sucker. I'll pay you... something. Depends how much *I* make. Which I'll tell you, honestly, I will... No, you can't see my bank account to verify my claims. Oops, you only get $0.01 because I've only made $0.02. My accounts? Showing I made millions last year? That was from something else. Now get back to work, peasant"

So why do you work for Google like this?

contentboss, recently the percent share of each publisher is available in your adsense account (68% for adsense content, 51% for adsense search) but yes, this is a number given by google, not external auditing. And google gave it only after being sued in Italia.

If you've only made $5 in 2 years, your problem is traffic. Even with terrible ad placement, you'd still be making a lot more than that if you had decent traffic. Lots of people make a killing from Adsense, but they all have massive amounts of traffic. You've heard it before a million times because it's the truth about how to make good money from Adsense. That and picking a niche that pays well.

    Ask yourself some basic questions.

    1) What's your site about?
    2) What's in it for the visitor?
    3) How does it help anyone?

If your site doesn't have a clear purpose it will never really grow or make any real money.

*Think only of the visitor and what they can gain by visiting your site*

Build a site you are proud of and that has real benefits for the visitor, then you can expect better revenue.

Thank you all for your responses!

I read one or two good advices... But let's be serious... How the hell you get traffic?

I was writing a lot and the pages have the damn keywords and descriptions, i think it has good articles, advices, reviews, just information and being serious, traffic doesn't come just because... I think you have to be lucky too, how the hell people see your site through google if you don't have your site ranked very well, if you have subscribed your site in a lot of directories but it's the same thing.

    Well...

I think i'm not the only one, but that's not the point, the thing is how to be one of biggest guys. I mean, people who makes $30,000 a month

I never submit my sites to directories, submitting to hundreds of directories for having backlinks is a thing of the past and could even be bad for your site's ranking because it is obvious that links on 100s directories are not natural and are the action of the webmaster alone, there's no need for a trial here :)
I make links from my other sites to any new site I make, but that is not with google in mind, it's more because at first you don't get any traffic, so having a few hundreds visitors can at least pay back the domain name of the new site in a few days.

To get the traffic you need content that MANY people are looking for, non technical people, are you doing that?
I said read my tips, have you done it? So what do you think? Are you not guilty of doing content for too techhnical people or for topics which are in a too competitive niche?

Anyway, even by doing everything good and making money, you'll be stuck at some level except if you are very lucky like a few stories we have read in the past. If you're not exceptionally lucky then the only way to overcome this limit level is to use internet nature/computers programming to produce content. Like two examples: 1. using APIs to code and generate semi-automated content, while still trying to add value to visitors, ie. mixing it with human generated content. 2. creating a multiusers systems and get people on the internet to produce content for you, because if you get enough people, they'll be able to produce content (poor->average even good if you're lucky) at a speed/rate you cannot imagine and surely cannot match by yourself or with employees.

But by generating content by yourself, you still can do it, just follow my simple tips, and also use tools such as google insights in order to produce content CLEVERLY, content that is searched for and where competition is not too harsh between webmasters because you're probably not the best at this seo game and anyway you don't have time for that, the goal is to make most money with least amount of time, not playing war with other webmasters for a spot on the first page of google.
