It's good or bad

Yesterday I posted one article from my blog to very much famous PR3 site and I got more than 5000 visits for 20 hours. There was only 40 clicks and I have earned only $2.
    Is this good or not?
I think my SEO is bad, and my niche too.

I assuem that your talking about digg, netscape, stumble upon type traffic. This kind of trafic give very poor ctr. It's normal.

No that kind of trafic. The post was published on PR5 site (not PR3 like I said on the first post) and the Alexa rank is 12596.
    Here is the post http://www.izklop.com/link.php?id=29900
Anyway, I think that the revenue is so small.

    The PR doesn't really matter.
probably had many page impressions, but few clicks.

I only see PSA on your website. This might be one reason for low income.

PSA -- Public Service Ads by Google

It shows on your website but if someone clicks, you don't get paid. I don't remember every clicking on PSA and don't think many people do either.

You don't have enough written content on your website for it to register to show revelant ads.

The reason could be on the keywords that your are targeting and the placement of your ads. You should arrange your adsense in your blog.

I think that you should be satisfied with your revenue of 2 $, but don't stop here. Make quality content, just like Kngavl said, and just to try, change ad placement. Also try to get some links to sites with good PR.
