Praise Hey-Suse I've finally figured it out! This thread has enlightened me on the true difference between extreme liberals and conservatives. I've known for years it wasn't actually political ideology, though liberals are most associated with Democrats and conservatives with Republicans, since there's nearly no divide left between the Dem. and Rep. parties. I think the only way for this conversation to go anywhere is for the people that are pro this war to list the benefits and then those who are against the war list the downfalls. Then take those two lists, remove the immature comments that have nothing to do with the discussion, and compare them in size.

The way I look at it is the morals of one country are normally different than another country, just because their morals may be more strict or completely different, it doesnt mean they are wrong, who is anyone to judge that? If they pose a risk to your country, then of course do something about the risk (saddam - who turned out to not even be a risk) not the innocent people, which account for most of the deaths in iraq. It's like they punnish saddam for killing innocents, by killing many times more innocents than he has. It just doesnt make sense. I bet you could ask any iraqi and they will tell you that their life was far better before the war than now.
