its big issue in google

Hi,
I have big question this time for experienced Seo's
Today i opened proxy site and in that i opened google.com where i searched a keyword and its ranking was down. But i when i tried same keyword in google.com without proxy site its ranking was different. Then i tried so many keywords and all ranking was showing different.

So can some body tell me that whats the reason behind this. Which one ranking i should prefer.

 

Dear when you use a proxy it will show the results of current region of proxy. example you are searching on google in india and find your website in top ten rankings but when u use a proxy that is different from your country proxy it will show you different results. most of the proxy websites are located in USA. So when you will search for any keyword it will show you USA rankings. hope that will help you

These are 'geo dependent' listings. For example, if you search for 'shopping' in India, you will find homeshop18 in results but that's not a relevant result for US / UK residents so it doesn't show up there. It's not perfect but it works to some extent.

As if we are using the proxy of same country, we can see the changes in rankings because when we request for any query, search engine sent the request to the center which is located near by from the searcher.

 

Proxy site always show different result from google.com.
