It's been a while since I was approved for Adsense

And now I have a friend and a brother (Both of them, not going uber-spiritual on ya ;-) ) that were turned down recently for sites that I thought would make it. What type of sites have those of you that were recently approved used to apply?

    TIA

I read one post some time back where a man applied for his wife and his e-mail did not match the e-mail address on her whois record. Later she applied on her own and was accepted. I have no idea if this is important but as a result of his post I had my sister apply for her site rather than my doing it for her.

I was worried about her site being accepted because it is so highly graphic with little text content but it made it.

    Good luck.

Hadn't considered the whois record problem. Might be a good reason to always use a public domain subsite to apply to Adsense...

    Thanks for the tip :)

My impressions is that if a site contains useful resources as long as does not violate adsense TOS they will consider it.

IMHO, both of theirs did, but they were not approved.

Of course, however, they did "consider" the site, but they said "no".
