I recently start a flash arcade site, and would love to get a few reviews on the design of the site! It's all designed myself and I would like to hear the good and the bad.. constructive criticism.

I like it but I think it looks a little crammed like there's a little too much on the page.

anyway try to do a fluid theme.. that would go well and would lessen the cramping look.. Take a look at my arcade site.. I made a custom fluid theme and made it look a bit professional

I've made many changes to to the site based on some DP reviews and comments including a banner with some cool effects to add some liveliness to the site.

I'd like the good with the bad please, I'm just trying to improve!!

looks better then the default script, I can tell you put some effort into making it more unique

have you tried to model it after any other arcade sites? Take a look at how the successful ones are set up and base your design off that

maybe add a featured game to the top of the page in a larger window? Similar to how www.candystand.com is set up

 

That featured game idea seems like a cool feature, I may implement it. Thanks for the review!

I too like the site and find it easy to navigate, am not a fan of dark backgrounds with white text but you have made this work.
