What do you do when you want to exchange itrader, but everything happened via pm? Make a new thread, and then link that one?

You must participate in a thread to be able to leave iTrader, otherwise it will be against the rules. :)

The problem with PM's is namely that it cannot be checked. Of course, with threads it can't be really checked either, but it is at least more solid than with PM's. You'ld be abled to exchange free iTraders with eachother, and that would encourage/be an advantage for scammers ... I guess that's why it isn't allowed ;)

So just make a thread, or just let it go?

If you don't even have a thread for the offer.. I would just make one for the itrader (if both parties really need the itrader). For me, personally.. I would just let it go (much different if it was someone who has 1 or no itrader)

You can leave an iTrader in response to an offer in a thread without actually posting in that thread. Maybe 0_0 has seen a straightforward offer for 'PR5 links for $2' and not felt it necessary to post in the thread before contacting the seller by PM. I sometimes do that myself.

Be sure you create your thread in the Buy Sell Trade sections of the forum.

You don't make a thread after a deal just to get iTrader. Either there was a thread and then a deal was made or not.

No thread, no iTrader. It is really pretty simple.

Yup, I would also just let it go. Of course you cannot get iTrader (or do not get) for every trade you do, just like you cannot always get rep for your posts. My iTrader is 5 but i've done a lot more exchanges/sales/trades etc than this number on DP. Even if I added a post in the thread, I didn't receive the iTrader. So just let it go :)

I'm SAYING.. make sure your deal thread is in the BST section for it to be eligible for Itrader. As I read the other day somebody wanted to leave Itrader but they had conducted the deal outside of the BST and therefore the thread was ineligible for itrader.

    Invalid Deal Thread

Your reply was to two people who suggested making a thread after the fact just to get iTrader.

Obviously, all itrader is based on a bst thread, but one should not be created after the fact.
