Hey, I know we're not allowed to complain about sales and scams, but can we attempt to get an almost completely random iTrade removed? I was going to sell someone my old poker site in this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1156796 As you can see I never posted in the thread, so already the iTrader should be nulled. But anyways, I contact him via email and he said he wanted to wait a bit (this was yesterday). Today he replies back saying I downloaded my template for free and tried to sell it to him. But I have proof I made it. He knew it wasn't unique, I've sold it once before. The first guy I sold it to (about 4 months ago) used put it on his site for download (I did not know of this at all). He never payed me money, I never sent him anything, and I never posted in his thread. If I knew the first buyer put it up as a FREE download, I wouldn't have tried to sell it a second time. I know moderators can't remove iTraders, but I want your expert opinions before I bug an administrator. Thanks, Nathan
1. Both parties don't have to post in the thread to make iTrader valid. 2. In the future, be a bit more diligent about knowing what you're selling. You were in the process of making a deal. He was taking part in it. Because you didn't do the research first to find out there was a problem, he chose not to complete that deal, and you essentially wasted his time in the process. It's no different than us allowing people to leave iTrader when someone wins an auction and then bails on the deal. You started the deal. You have to live with the consequences iTrader-wise. I'd say that's a valid iTrader.
