I wonder if it is OK to exchange iTraders for link exchange?

I've just left one and now I'm thinking if it is OK, as I actually haven't bought anything.

If you left a Itrader as the " trader" i.e for trade, and not for buying or selling, it is fine.

From what I can see, you left Itrader stating that you were the buyer.

Ah, yeah. So I had to select "Trade". I'm sorry, this is the first time I'm leaving an iTrader for a link exchange. Can't this be edited?

I have always that thought it was acceptable under the trade heading and have practiced this routine with others, always leaving feedback but never asking for one

if it isnt then I would prefer to know

I think you're all right - it is allowed.
But I think this area needs to be looked at - it is yet another potential source of iTrader abuse. Having stopped people from getting their worthless iTraders by giving away Freebies, is it right that they should be able to do the same by making a few lame link exchange threads? I think not.

you can edit for a short while. The trade option should be used for this. If you are going to buy, and money is changing hands, it has to be above the five dollar mark in order to do an itrader as buyer/seller. People that review your itraders will look to see how much the deals were valued at. (hopefully) :) We all make mistakes. If you cannot edit this, at least you've been honest and you have searched for the answer. Take care. :)

I agree with countryboy. This can be another possible source of itrader abuse in the future.
