I'm new to doing Amazon affiliate stuff and yesterday I had my first sale(s). My report shows items ordered = 2, items shipped = 1 (both the same product). I've received commission on the 1 shipped item. The item appears to be in-stock ... so my question is why would the product have the "not yet shipped" status?
Maybe the buyer changed his order, the item hasn't shipped yet or the product hasn't been payed. If you use amazon as an affiliate expect more items ordered than shipped .
If the orders came from two different people, they could be getting goods from different warehouses or they could have been made at different times and one may not have processed. They could have only had one in stock. I've seen orders hang around for three weeks before being shipped. Socks. You'd think they'd have lots of socks.
It happen all the time. Perhaps they will ship it tomorrow or day after, or perhaps they don't have it in stock... Don't worry, generally it is a good thing that you have recorded an order, and probably will be shipped in text few days.
