Hi Was wathing the first half whilst having dinner this evening, and I must say, although I'm not really a football person, I did find the match to be rather disappointing. I mean, Ukraine seemed to at least have some spirit in them, but after that first goal by Italy they just seemed to give up, almost as if they went into the match expecting to go home after it, but with some forlorne hope that they might do well. Now the Portugal v Netherlands match on Sunday, in comparison that was brilliant. The ref. was just plain funny, and the number of cards being dished out left, right and center was just crazy! I loved the moment when the ref. completely missed, or ignored, one of the players getting kicked in the head, then gives that same offender a yellow for time wasting just a few mins later! Was rather upset that the Netherlands lost, but oh well. Cheers and take care. Oh, and in case you missed it, 3-0 Italy the final score. Hussein.
