it took me 6 months to make $7 as a affiliate, I'm so happy

I would be rich many times over if I could develop a pill that gets rid of stupidity like an aspirin does for a headache.

Marketing them to the posters here would be a good start.

well...when I click on the link in your sig and try to place on order, it shows up as "affiliate=none" so if that's supposed to be an affiliate site it ain't working properly...

 

I know a lot of people will brag about their earning here although I am sure I make more money than 99% of them.
But for you I would say that earning your first dollar is the most important thing. It breaks the myth in your mind that making money online is impossible. Also taking your first step is important. Its better to be doer than talker.

The important thing is that you have made money and not how long it took you to make it. You have a positive attitude and a sense of humour. Don't get discouraged and keep at it. I know of a writer who submitted articles for 10 years before he sold a $25 dollar article. That was a monthly income of just over cents. Good Luck

ok..I just made around $400 this month...so $7 is nothing. But it's your first step. You need to build a list of targeted visitor though.

it's will be pritty hard to discouraged me because i realise that the way to make money now and in the future is on the internet and not doing a 9-5 job

I started my first affiliate site 9 days ago (Mobile phones). I'm concentrating on writing as much original content in the form of reviews as I possibly can. I've written 8 (600 words plus) reviews so far and I'm aiming for 50 within the next few weeks. I've also added about 100 phones with tables of the best deals.

My strategy is content first, then maybe a bit of ppc and link building!! Is this the right strategy?? Writing these reviews is very time consuming and I don't want to get a month down the line and think I've just wasted my time??
