IT & Media is the new registrar for the Top Level Domain: .gw - global web

IT & MEDIA, Corp. a US Company with headquarter in Lisbon, Portugal has acquired the rights of Guinea-Bissau´s ccTLD .gw, after negotiations with their Government. IT & MEDIA is the sole agent to market and sell .gw domain names worldwide. IT & MEDIA is going to turn the country code Top Level Domain .gw into a Global Web Domain.

The Top Level Domain .gw - global web is positioned in direct competition to .com who has already registered more than 60 million Domain Names. The best Domain Names are not available with .com any more, but with .gw - global web any desired name can be registered. This will cause an enormous boom in registration with .gw !

A good domain name is one of the best assets a company can ever have. It can make their business stand out in the crowd. IT & MEDIA is committed to delivering the promise of the Internet to businesses and consumers. The launch of .gw - global web Domain Names is a further step in this direction.

In January 2008 IT & MEDIA will start the Sunrise Period for .gw - global web Domain names. During this period only companies and trademarks can register their names.

    LOL. this a joke?

you're trying to position yourself as the new .ws (western samoa... or website as they want people to think... haven't seen any ads for that, have you?)

I would invest my money elsewhere if I were you.

Global Web? Are you serious? no... really....

The average Joe has enough difficulty remembering whether a domain is .com or .co.uk - advertising a something ending in .gw probably won't even be recognised as a website.
