Maybe we should petition a DP moderator to ban PR update posts until a PR update actually happens :D

People been going on about PR change for more than 8 weeks now. One site even did a date prediction thread lol. Still no movement here since beginning of the year.

Please people - focus on the work on your site. Whether PR updates ever happen again on the toolbar shouldn't change the fact that you have work to do.

Any serious SEO knows that they have to work....
And when you work, you want to check from time to time how well you have done...
And toolbar PR export is that, it tells you if you move in the right direction with your work....

Personally, I dont think PR currently shows that a site is better than another one. You can have one site which managed to get only 1 backlink, but this was froma pr8 site, and then you can get another site where they have worked hard or gotten 50,000 relevant backlinks from sites whose pr is 1 to 2. The first site could get a PR7 and the second could get a PR3 or maybe 4.

Which site do you think is the best? Most people would say the first because it has a PR7. I therefore think the way google calculates PR is unfair or incorrect. I think this is maybe what they are trying to change now before they roll out the next PR.

    What do other people think?

What's the reason? People wants to talk with PR are those people also doing their job as an SEO expert. Why? Because they all want to know wether there is improvement or no of what they are doing. Yes, I admit that I also one who loves PR but I am not obsessed of this. I better focus on SERP.

It's their freedom to talk in this forum about PR.

    Moderator permission to talk.

If you don't like PR discussion then you are free to discuss other thing. All you want to do are keep off of this discussion.

I don't think so, But i hope Google will become nice and update and export the Pagerank to the toolbar so we will not see any more Pagerank threads in here.

I have PR5 PR4 PR3 PR1 and PR0 sites, I am actually making more money off my PR1 site than all the other combined. And it happens to be the same nich as the PR5 site....
I never worry about PR change, doesnt seem to help or hurt me....
Its just like Alexa, I could care less what I rank there either........
