    As a seo,we need people to scan our sites and buy our produce... so someone will choose to buy links get a good ranking as soon as possible..

    Buying links is a fast way to obtain a good ranking,but when google consider it as unnatural way for the promotion of your website,you sites will banned by google or deprived your ranking... So If you're looking for a long term business then you shouldn't buy links. Google is hate this Black Hat SEO technique

    I wouldn't say it's unethical. I'd say buying links is a waste of money (which you can invest on hiring someone to build backlinks for you) because it is no longer effective. Search engines look at relevance now, so getting a bunch of links from all sorts of sites does not have as much weight as a few links coming from sites within your site's niche.
