it could be that link hight pr sites improve pr? recently I started to link some hight pr and valuable sites (for example wikipedia) and my pr got better... anyone knows if link this kind of sites could improve PR? thanks!
Wikipedia won't increase your PageRank - it's nofollow. But links from pages with high PR that aren't nofollow, will increase your PageRank.
sorry guys and gals I think I wasn't clear I meant If I link from one of my sites to wikipedia, it's possible that such thing have a positive impact in my page rank? I said that because I realize that when I out link to one page this page got PR quickly that page with out outgoing links.. thanks!
Most major sites are for the most part no-follow and cannot increase your PR. Forums and blogs are probably the best places to help you get a PR.
your PR will increase from backlinks meaning links from other sites. it will not increase if you link TO other sites. doesn't matter whether its wikipedia or CNN or even google itself. in other words, outbound links will not increase your PR, inbound links will all the other people replied above need to read the post first before making comments
thanks @sultanofseo's and as you said "all the other people replied above need to read the post first before making comments" ...
outbound links won't increase your PR, BUT they can help with your SERPs if you link to relevant authority sites: 1) Inbound links are what others say your site is about 2) Outbound links is what you say your site is about
