John...the white made no difference...actually it did it was worse. I changed back to gray at about 6pm my time and in about a 4 hour period it outdid what the white page had done all day.
well the terms say that don't place images misleading to the ads regarding arrows that might be one thing but still you removed the text and placed it line wise with the model. did you ask adsense about it; if not do you want me to ask them if it was okey!
Yeah. Somebody owes me 10 bucks...lol Seriously, the gray works well with the photos and it blends the ads perfectly. The link unit on mandarichphotography.com/gallery.html is fine as far as TOS IMO. You might want to consider moving that menu-bar Slammed to the top of the page and more folks may mistake that link unit for the menu and the ctr goes up.IMO Check out this example.. and notice they made a colored/matching table to really make the link unit look like site nav/menu. www.freewebsitetemplates.com Keep us posted and I hope your good fortune continues!
almost midnight here on pacific time ...the CTR was 7.07% $ was $9.73 Is been like that since I made the change minus the one day I went to a white backgroud with white ad units.
Congrats kalta1 for achieving such a high CTR. Tread cautiously as your site is in limelight. Good luck
No wonder you get such a good CTR. The ads are practically the only text visible on the site considering that the content text is almost the same shade as the site's background color. If a Google person checks your site, you are going to be banned. This is like having hidden text for the bots and just ads for the human visitors. How long before you open one of those "I got banned and I don't know why" threads?
Huh? WTF! You may need to go back to your optometrist and get a refund mate. How is this invisible or hidden text? Cheers James
Did you not read the word 'almost' in my response as in 'almost the same shade'? And did you notice that the ads pop out because the white color of the font is much brighter than anything else on the page? Anyways, makes little difference in my life if he loses his account or not.
