It’s been a while... new stuff @ Directory Critic

Well, it’s been ages since I posted an announcement here and loads of stuff has been going on in the site so I thought I better. Directory Critic has become far more popular than I ever thought it would and I’m pretty happy with the way things are going. Anyway, here’s what’s new:

1. I’m now accepting article directories! I want to build a big list of article directories to match the web directory list. So if you have an article directory you can submit it here.

2. I’m writing an on site blog. I needed a place to announce things on the site and talk about directory and link building related stuff so I’ve started a blog. The blog has also become pretty popular, getting a PR5 when it was only released about 3 weeks before the update. There’s already a few hundred webmasters subscribed to the feed. You can find the blog here.

3. The web directory list just topped 800 seo friendly directories. So keep em’ coming. I want to make the 1k mark by the end of May! Submit your directory here (must be seo friendly, yes I do check!)

4. And finally, I’ve setup lots of different advertising options in and around the site. At the moment you can buy sitewide “Critics Choice” links, banner advertising, blog announcements and featured listings for article directories. Soon I will add a few spots to the blog too. All rates are very reasonable and the traffic is extremely targeted.

Being new to the directory niche, I am not as well versed as a lot of you guy/girls on the forums, and don't know of many places to submit, But having help like yours is a godsend.

Masetek, i visit your site everyday and find it very helpful, just like the forums here, i see that you keep it very up to date, i hope that you continue with that, its cool and very useful, i hope to start my own directory in the future but for the time being im going to learn more about directories from the folks here before venturing into having my own.
