Hey everyone, I'm trying to find review on www.ereleases.com from someone who doesn't work there or advertise their service lol. Do any of you have experience with ereleases.com? Was it worth the $350 fee to be a member? Did you see traffic from the sources where it was posted? Thanks for any information you can share... Matthew
That's a lot of dough. You send them free through prleap.com and prweb.com for free or you can pony up a few dollars and get a bit wider distribution, but that seems kinda steep to me.
That is a ton of cash when I've used preweb.com for free in the past with great results. If you need any help with writing a PR, I've got qualified experienced writers who have done them before. If not, take your time in writing your release. Treat it like you're writing a keyword article but at the same time make it sound nice and genuine. Don't skimp on the quality.
I do professioanl writing on the side and I've been hit up a lot lately for people trying to capitalize on the power of press releases. Yes, a well written article and good distribution can bring a lot of exposure. Even though I can make decent money doing this, I tell everyone that I do side work for to submit it themselves via PRweb. Why? Because it saves me hassle and them money simply put. For $80+ at prweb, you can get into Google News, Yahoo News, Dogpile, emedia and a ton of others. What's even better is that other editors, site owners, etc. pick up these stories and re-run them on their sites - more exposure and backlinks for you. If you have even a decent niche for writing a good content rich page, don't be afraid to try it yourself and then you're only spending a fraction of the money and still getting phenomenal results. No matter your comfort level though, it's always a great idea to have someone give it a "second set of eyes" though, run it through a spell and grammar check, and submit to a release agency that will also do a quick overview before accepting. (At the $80+ level prweb and others have an editor review it). Even if you pay someone a fee for writing and then do the submission yourself, you'll be saving more than what the site you've listed is wanting to charge. After you've done this a few times, sometimes even just once, you'll likely be comfortable enough to do your own down the road. Good luck!
$350 bucks is a rip off. I issued a press release at www.prweb.com and got over 10,000 views. I only paid about 30.00 bucks, and that is the cheapest package. I don't know why those guys charge so much.
I have tried prleap.com and prweb.com and they are good but do you know of any more free PR sites so that I could use them as well.
I started using prweb.com in 2002, and I still see those releases coming up in SERPs. Can't beat it for the price, and it's come a long way since then.
Free on PRLeap.com has given me more impact than paid on PRWeb. I would do both, but this ereleases seems like a rip-off!
