Issue with search results

I just noticed this...lately I had a drop off in traffic. I used to rank 1st page for A LOT of terms, and now I've noticed that the only results that I rank 1st page for now are ones that are only on my Index/Homepage of my blog.

And I noticed that even when i directly search the term, and rank for the first result, instead of showing my permalink of .com/whatever-test/ it just shows my main domain.

Any idea what would cause this?

    Define lately.

This can be several reasons, are you sure the pages (right now at this moment) are indexed? Did you do any changes on your website?

Competition is maybe pushing you of the first page or this is just temporary (thats why I asked define lately).

That sometimes really happen.. Just optimise your page/s with your keywords and it will be back in their position.

If you didn't done any spamming then this effect would be temperory. But you will have to keep on working on SEO to regain your SERPs. Yes, you will regain them faster than others gain them.

Have you made any recent changes in your website? Check your inner pages are still indexed in Google?
If everything is alright then try to promote your Inner pages and make your inter linking strong. It will definitely help...
