Have noticed phpld directories that request a Reciprocal Link URL: give you this html code to put on your site <a href="****://url" id="R606C0B">site url</a> My issue is I place Reciprocal Links in with the normal listings and have no provision to add the code. (Use a directory script myself) Tried just putting the url of the page the listing is on but no joy. So how do webmasters of phpld directories exchange Reciprocal Links links? Or am I missing something
I think, they're for non-directories. I own a directory of directories myself and I have come across this problem. I just submit for free (without recip) as some of these directories don't give a higher listing for recip links..
turn that ID *OFF* in your admin panel. It's useless, and I've already suggested that it be comopletely eliminated from future releases. It is off by default now in 3.0 version. Are you using 2.0?
The directoryaholic here just learned a new thing about phpld! Thanks Anon for the gem. Maybe with that turned off in my directories, I can get more recips.
