Issue with Main Menu when using Template

    We have the Template installed on Joomla 1.5.23. When I switch to a new template on the front-end, the design associated with the main menu is retained from the last template that was live.

    I have tried a lot of time not solved.

    Give me solutions.

    Is the new template a Yootheme template?

    I've had this issue, it was a Yootheme template that set a cache file straight away, combined with the fact that Yootheme templates have special code that detects any module position with 'menu' in its div or module position name.

    If this is the case create a new position add name the position 'unem' add it to the template XML and you should start getting somewhere.
