I have a problem with a domain registered with godaddy, I bought from ebay a while back. Although I changed the DNS to my hosting, the website displays the same basic blog (with is not mine). And I can't access either the cpanel from it or the wp-admin because my username and passwords are always wrong.

I can see the domain in my godaddy account but I have no control on it:confused::confused::confused:

Do you have an idea, why is it so?

Thanks in advance for the help,
    Houcem

    Common people.
Has no one over here experienced something similar?
I am really out of clues.

Wait for at least 24 hrs for the nameservers to resolve. Also, clear your DNS cache.

try contacting godaddy, is under your domains or under purchased domains, as some take a while to transfer owbership it should have a date when it's yours if this is the case.

I had a very similar problem not too long ago. The funny things was: I could log in to the WordPress Blog admin panel but I could not get into the cPanel. And I use an automated username and password generated so I knew that the cPanel log in was correct, but I too, failed to successfully log in.

It's possible there is a glitch with your hosting service you might want to contact your tech support for whatever hosting account you have sided with.

Call GD. Don't you think your account # and password are important? Use their unadvertised toll free # 1-866-463-2339

BTW, it can take up to 24hrs for GD to update nameservers.
