Issue with a check that it must NOT issued(there was a hold)

    Hello,
    A had a hold in our account but early this February adsense send a check.
    However,we received an email to not cash this check,as this was by an error and the money from the check will be returned within 2-3 weeks.
    Until now, the money have not been returned into our account and we haven't cash the check either.

    Any opinions in what to do?

    wait for sometime... do not deposit the cheque as it will not be cleared by the bank...It takes some time to for the amount to be credited back to your account.
