    Gentlemen,
First, I am new to this board and adsense so hello to you all.
    Here is my issue:
I am making a few baseball related websites. I have created a Chicago Cubs site with Adsense and the ads work real well and are relavant. I then used the same page and changed the content and colors to make a New York Yankees website but the ads display Cubs ads. I can not figure it out. I am an adsense newbie but not a coding newb but this I cannot figure out.
I have searched through every line of code and removed anything about the Cubs and it still shows Cubs ads on the Yankees website.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

I am new to this forum so I am unsure if it is ok to give out links. I would be willing to PayPal you a fair amount right away if you can help resolve this issue. My email is gjackson710@yahoo.com

    Thank you for your help.
    Greg

    Sure...

(sorry for no links, it won't let me post them yet)

    http://www.yankeesline.com

And while your at it, also check out this one because it is having the same issue as the Yankees one (showing the Cubs ads)...

I really appreciate you taking the time to take a look at this. I have tried numerous different things and cannot for the life of me get the ads to change.

Again, I will compensate anybody immediately that can help me resolve this.

    Thank you,
    Greg

There could be several different things going on...

    1. The "cubs" advertisers are also paying for the "yankees" keyword. If this is the case, you are pretty screwed.

    2. The yankee page is too new and google hasn't crawled it yet. It is just serving ads from your popular older pages. In this case, try refreshing the page several times in different browsers - firefox, netscape, internet explorer.

    3. Google isn't finding enough keyword density, and generic baseball terms outweigh the term yankees. Add more keyords, like team players, coaches, and just "yankees" a few times.

My guess is that when you originally put up the site, you still had cubs stuff on it. Google crawled it and figured it was about the cubs. They have yet to re-crawl it since you changed your site, so it is still showing cubbies stuff.

I verified this be looking at "www.yankeesline.com?fpp=bar". With the extra bogus arguments at the end, Google thinks it is a new page recrawled it and shows Yankees ads.

If you wait a few days things should be fine.

    I accept PayPal ;)
