I'm from California, the closest religion I identify with is Catholicism but I don't practice nor have I been baptised so Catholics wouldn't consider me a true Catholic. Right now I'm in Mexico - with the way America is going I honestly don't think it's going to last to the end of this century.

I did get one once for calling someone an "ignorant fool". Sometimes it is simply worth the price to say what you want.

I type really mean stuff all the time . . . usually, I manage to stop myself before posting the bad ones. I usually tell myself that if I can't explain why someone is wrong or offensive without using foul language or a personal attack, I probably don't really have much worth saying.

Self-Censorship is a skill many here on DP do not have.

All of the Israeli's I have known have shared the same faults -- they were too willing to forgive, they were too willing to turn the other cheek, they were too hopeful and too optimistic, they wanted nothing more than to live their lives and avoid trouble and they sometimes caused themselves more trouble by doing so.

Knowing the Israeli's as I do, I am far less apt to accept your knee-jerk condemnations of them as crafty and shrewd Machiavellians who seek to have their own children murdered in order to perpetuate endless war.

It seems to me that some kind of arrangement is reached within the past 6 months. If you were paying attention you would have seen it.
a- US has supported the lebenon govt that includes hezbolah and announced that a while back
b-US is also showing more flexibility toward iran and wants to open an office there
c-israel is negotiating with every one, and it has produced some success.
These obvious events show that something is going on behind the scenes. The neocons have lost their influence and it is time for smart approach to the conflicts. If you look at this, it is a complete prisoner exchange and it is very logical if you were going to end the hostilities.
