Israeli's trade child murderer for bodies of two murder victims

Hezbollah just gave Israel the bodies of two Israeli border guards whom they had kidnapped and murdered.

The bodies are being examined to confirm that they are indeed Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, two young Israeli soldiers who were captured during an invasion of Israel by Hezbollah in 2006 and were later murdered by their captors.

In return, the Israeli government will free Samir Kuntar -- a cold blooded Islamist who beat a little girl to death by bashing her head into beach rocks and smashing her skull with his rifle butt. Einar Haran was only 4 years old.

A newspaper report from the incident reads:
After drowning Danny (the little girls father) in the sea in front of Einat (as Ahmed Al-Brass, Mhanna Salim Al-Muayed, and Abdel Majeed Asslan served as look outs and backup cover for Kuntar), Kuntar turned his attention towards the 4 year-old. He took his rifle and then swung it across the toddler's head, knocking her to the ground. Kuntar then dragged the toddler a couple of feet to the closest rock he could find and laid her head down on a rock, with the intention of crushing it with the butt of his rifle. Einat, instinctively covered her head with her arms, Kuntar struggled with the toddler until he finally managed to clear her arms out of the way. Once her arms were out of the way, Kuntar repeatedly beat her on the head with the butt of his rifle and stomping on her body, until blood rushed out of her ears and mouth. Then, to ensure she was dead, Kuntar continued beating her over the head until her skull was crushed and she was dead.
For these actions, Kuntar is being welcomed home as a hero by both Hezbollah and Hamas.

While Kuntar was held by the Israeli's, he was married and he earned a degree in Social and Political Science. His wife was given a monthly stipend by the Israeli government because she was the wife of a prisoner.

This shows what the Israeli's value:
    • Protecting their borders
    • Respecting their honored dead
    • Family -- even the family of child murderers
    • Education -- even education for child murderers
This shows what the Islamists value:
    • Murdering children
These people behave no better than animals. I am ashamed to be a member of the same species as people like this.

    Some more information:
    * The animal-monster Samir Quntar was only 16.5 years old when the terrorists sent him to this "mission".
    * He murdered one more cop that was in the area.
    * The other daughter (baby) of Dani Haran and Smadar Haran, hided with her mother from the animal-monster Samir Quntar. she suffocated and died in the hiding. Smadar Haran is the only survivor from the family.

It seemed a very very raw deal to me. Exchanging two bodies for a criminal who will be free to do more harm. While I do know of Israel commitment towards their soldiers, haven't it occur to them that freeing such a criminal may backfire on Israel, who knows what he can do to harm Israel's interest.

He shot rot in prison. Israel has every right to hold this guy forever, and they shouldn't do deals like this.

Even though he was only 16 they almost passed a bill to have him executed, which they probably should have. He wouldn't even be a memory by now.

I definitely feel that exchanging two bodies for two bodies would be a fairer deal.

They using our "life value". They don't have life value.
if you ask me, we were supposed to execute this monster. unfortunately, there is no death sentence in Israel, even not for monsters like Samir Quntar.

    BTW
    The picture broke my heart.

This is the first time I'm hearing this news, so I obviously have some doubts.

    1. When did Israel arrest Samir Kuntar?

    2. Why didn't they execute him as soon as they captured him? Don't they have capital punishment out there?

    3. Why were these soldiers kidnapped? Were the captors demanding the Israel government to release Samir?

    4. If they did, why did they kill those soldiers before their demands were met with?

    5. If they've already killed those soldiers, why in the world would Israel let Samir go scot free?

Anyone care to explain this stuff to me?

In 1979. Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samir_Kuntar

No, the Israeli's do not generally practice capital punishment. The last execution in Israel was Adolph Eichmann in 1962.

These soldiers were kidnapped because the Islamists like to kill non-Muslims.

Why keep them alive when the Israeli's will trade for dead bodies?

Plus, you get the fun of beating a Jew to death...

It seems to me that the Israeli's are getting soft.

This is a stupid move. Its only result is to motivate the Islamists to kidnap and murder more Israeli's.

If you reward a certain type of behavior, you will get more of that behavior. The Israeli's just rewarded the Islamists for kidnap and murder. The result will be more kidnap and murder.

This sort of barbaric behavior is beyond explanation.

    1. 1979, right after the murder.
    2. no, there is no capital punishment in Israel.
    3. Why? those terrorists are animals, that's why.
    4. we don't know how the soldiers died. maybe they died in the first assault on the patrol like the other 8 soldiers in the Hammers.
    5. Until we saw the coffins few hours ago, we didn't know if they are alive or dead.

Will, that opened up a can of worms, I tell you. It's so ridiculous that they keep kidnapping people and these guys keep releasing prisoners. And I think this sentence from Wikipedia sums it up all.

"Inspired by the prisoner swap, Hamas vowed, a few days later, that they would also abduct Israeli soldiers to secure the release of Palestinian prisoners."

    WTF?

Hezbollah was refusing to release information about the boys in order to maximize the suffering of their families.

Even at the last, Hezbollah senior terrorist Wafik Safa thumbed his nose at the families with this statement:
"We are handing over the two Israeli soldiers that were captured by the resistance ... and whose fate has been unknown until this moment. Now you know their fate."
Exactly my point. The Israeli's have set a terrible precedent -- one that can only lead to an enormous surge in kidnappings and murders. :(

Einat looks dangerous. It's no wonder Samir had to invade her country and her house, drag her little body outside to the beach, and beat her to death with his rifle butt. :(

Smadar Haran, wife and mother of the murder victims, described the murder in the Washington Post in 2003:

"It was a murder of unimaginable cruelty… It had been a peaceful Sabbath day. My husband Danny and I had picnicked with our little girls, Einat, 4, and Yael, 2, on the beach. Around midnight … the terrorists burst into our building. Danny helped our neighbor climb into a crawl space above our bedroom; I went in behind her with Yael in my arms. Danny grabbed Einat and was dashing out the front door when the terrorists came crashing into our flat.

"I will never forget the joy and the hatred in the terrorists voices as they swaggered about hunting for us, firing their guns and throwing grenades. … As I lay there, I remembered my mother telling me how she had hidden from the Nazis during the Holocaust. "This is just like what happened to my mother," I thought. ..

"The terrorists took Danny and Einat down to the beach. There, according to eyewitnesses, one of them shot Danny in front of Einat so that his death would be the last sight she would ever see. Then he smashed my little girl's skull against a rock with his rifle butt. That terrorist was Samir Quntar."

Various organizations in the Palestinian Authority responded with applause to the announcement of granting honorary citizenship to the two terrorists.

The Palestinians honored these murders by giving them Palestinian citizenship. If people wonder why the Palestinian society is so screwed up, it is acts like celebrating child killers that is rotting Palestine from the core.

As the saying goes, there will be peace when the Palestinians love their own children as much as they hate Israeli children.

"The 'Friends of the Prisoners' organization sees the decision, of the present government, to award Palestinian citizenship to two Arab prisoners – Samir Quntar from Lebanon and Sultan Al-Ajaluni from Jordan – an act of Palestinian national obligation and in dedication to the honored history that the Arab prisoners have provided to the Palestinian issue."
    [Al-Quds newspaper, Mar. 7, 2006]

"The Palestinian Liberation Front, through general secretariat member, Dr. Wasil Abu Yusuf, praised the government's decision… to award the imprisoned fighters Samir Quntar and Sultan Al-Ajaluni honorary citizenship as an act of dedication to their struggle and their heroic suffering in the occupation's prisons.
    [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 8, 2006]

"The Palestinian Popular Committees expressed their appreciation for the government's decision to award the two imprisoned fighters, Samir Quntar and Sultan Al-Ajaluni, honorary citizenship and Palestinian citizenship as an act of dedication to their struggle and their heroic sufferings in the occupation's prisons.
    [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 9, 2006]

PMW's Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook noted, "Societies measure their heroes in different ways. Some societies honor athletes or performers. Others celebrate caregivers and humanitarian workers. The Palestinians, on the other hand, have consistently chosen to honor murderers as their national icons."

Are you saying that he would decide that it's ok to become a murderer? Most of the "occupied" people are not even murderers, so how could you say someone on a web forum who you probably don't know would become a murderer?

this is what we are dealing with everyday, let me tell you a story about my uncle Gadi Rejwan.

my uncles run a very successful coffee factory in Israel
two of them Gadi and Eitan used to wakeup everyday and open the factory
for the workers (they employed Palestinians) my uncle treated them
equally, he was very kind to them bought them food and gave them a lot of gifts from the factory all the time.

one day Gadi arrived to the factory first because eitan was a little late
he was sitting in the office when suddenly one of his Palestinian workers came in with a pistol and shot him 1 bullet in the arm
my uncle fall on the ground and started bagging him to spare his life
because he got a little daughter he shot him again in the chest this time
even after the second bullet gadi was still conscious bagging him crying to spare his life
for his daughter, he got closer to my uncle attached the gun to his head and shot him
to make sure he will die.. gadi was 34 years old when he died.

after that the Palestinian murderer terrorist ran out of the factory and a car was waiting for him, he vanished.

Eitan arrived moments after that, the other workers told him what happend he ran to gadi and started yelling and crying for an ambulance, gadi died bleeding in his arms.

this happened in 2001, today his daughter Ann don't have a father, my grandmother only thinks of death all the time her life is over, she is not eating she want to kill herself all the time - it ruined my mother and her brothers, our family is destroyed.
