I have lived in Istanbul Turkey for 2 years and been there for vacation a few times after that. I absolutely love Turkey and Turkish people.
Turkey has one of the most secular government in the world. Any teaching of religion is strictly forbidden in all public schools in Turkey. They have private Catholics schools and medressa for religious teachings. All this Turkey hate has been biased because they are Muslims and lately Turkey have been critical of the terrorist state Of Israel. Turkey has had very strong ties with Israel and was the first Muslim majority country recognize the state of Israel. Also Israeli air force conduct training activities in Turkeys air space. My point is that both Israel and Turkey have mutual interests in having friendly relations with each other. Regardless of the latest strain in relations both countries have announced that they will get past this and they relations will remain strong.

Kurdish people in Turkey have the same rights as everyone else . Now the Kurdish terrorists that Turkey have been fighting with for a long time are recognized as a terrorist organization from the international community. They want to split Turkey and form their own country and have been responsible for many killings.
