I wish she had provided more hard proof, but I agree, it is interesting. I love Ilana Mercer. She's super smart and super hot.

Did you know she endorsed Ron Paul for President?

This part of your post is like tourrettes. It just pops in there randomly, with no relation to anything already said.

I've been pretty critical of the Saudis. I think the Egyptian government is a farce. I don't like the Iraqi government, but that is because they are the Da'wa party from Iran, and they are the ones who bombed our Kuwaiti embassy. Al Maliki is not an ally to the US, and not a good leader for Iraq.

I don't like Ahmadinejad's foreign relation positions, but his economic populism is pretty resonant with people outside Tehran. Still, I don't think he will be re-elected.

Well, I don't have a problem with "non-browns". I like Ron Paul. You've claimed he doesn't like browns. That doesn't make sense. I like Ilana Mercer! She's HOT! I think the Pope is cool, he's not brown. Russell Means is cool, and he's Lakota, so figuratively, I think he would be red, not brown or white.

First of all, Pakistan is not part of the Arab World, its part of the Desi, indian world.

Secondly, that country is heavily controlled by the united states as many dont want Musharef there but has Bush's support.

Thirdly, DID YOU JUST SAY WHAT COUNTRIES ISRAEL HAS THREATENED lol ??

how can one debate with someone like that... If someone is going to keep lowering the level of debate just becuase he or she cant argue accuratly then this really undermines DigitalPoint.

In a certain context it was not only good for Israel in the eyes of Americans but it was good for Israel in the eyes of the entire world.

The world saw in a vivid way what terrorists will do.

After 9/11 America received condolences and support from nations throughout the world. That included nations that normally wouldn't defend or support Americans vis a vis middle eastern nations.

It was an incredible level of world wide support and world wide understanding of the threat and problems with terrorism for all people everywhere.

It is the reason why there was support for the US to attack Afghanistan, overthrow the Taliban government and go after Al-Queda. Too bad they didn't finish the job.

The quote was made in the context of the view of others with regard to the issues people and nations face with regard to terrorism. It was an awakening of the threat of terrorism against civilization.

Few in the world and few in America have a realization of the terrorist threats Israel faces on a daily basis year after year. Few consider the consequences, including Americans and most of the world.

No other nation has survived living with the constant threat of attack and/or terrorism virtually all the time over a 60 year period.

If more people saw and recognized that threat....than it was a plus for Israel with regard to public perceptions. The speaker was speaking about public perceptions. He was accurate in that regard.

Here is a further quote from the article. For some reason you decided against publishing this aspect of the article. Why was that?

Ahmeadinajad described the attack that the entire world recognized as a violent terrorist attack as "suspicious". He further made a statement about not publishing names of those who died.

How stupid and what horrible misinformation.

One of my friends died in that attack. He was on the lowest floor of building one, above which nobody survived. He was extraordinarily gentle, nice, and talented with a wife and two kids. His client base included middle easterners. Of extraordinary irony, many years earlier when he was young and radical he might have expressed support for Al Queda and attacked every fiber of the American society.

All who were interested have access to every name of every person who died in those attacks.

It is interesting that Ahmadinejad made those comments in Iran, a nation that extensively blocks and excludes information and news from the web and other sources. Iran doesn't like the free flow of ideas and knowledge to permeate and be accessable to its own people. Its a great opportunity to rewrite history and distort facts.

It is worthwhile for people of the world to see unvarnished truth from sources of information rather than have distorted perspectives made by someone like Ahmadinejad, who twists history toward a people who are restricted from information across the web.

All those in nations that have now been exposed to terrorism as it strikes civilians in every capacity see its most vicious and twisted perspective. That includes people in Jordan, where a wedding party was the subject of terrorist attacks, in Britain, in Spain where the transport system was attacked, so many times and places within Pakistan and India, and so many nations throughout the world.

It is scary for the population at large throughout the world to recognize that terrorist attacks can occur everywhere and at any time striking anyone at any place.

If the size and horrific conditions of the 9/11 attacks made this vivid condition more apparant to more people in more parts of the world, let alone the US, than that is a plus for the plight of Israel that faces continuous terrorist attacks all the time over many years.

The attack was suspicious. Of that, there is little doubt. The list of official justifications isn't plausible, not only it is an extraordinary array of coincidences for everything to go down like that.

There are loads of unanswered questions, as well as Cheney filibustering an investigation until the physical evidence was all destroyed.

There is a new investigation coming. The average Joe might not hear it, but the call for a proper investigation into the justification for two wars of aggression is gaining in Europe and Asia, as well as on the homefront with a lot of big names starting to come out on it.

Now how much Ahmadinejad knows about it, beats me.

Its amazing how an Israeli can say something like that, and if an american said that he would be called unpatriotic.

ITS A SELFISH ACT TO THINK ANYONE SHOULD BENEFIT FROM SOMEONE DIEING.

Muslim terrorists attack the US and you want us to be angry at Israel?

What a typical thought from a jew hating antisemite.

What you fail to realize is that civilized people can talk about the effects and consequences of that Islamic attack on America. We don't need to pretend it didn't happen. It did, and there are political consequences to the terrorist act. Pointing out the potential effects, positive or negative, is not celebrating or encouraging the sick attack.

Your desperate attempts to drive a wedge between Israel and the US are really pretty sad.

Here is what celebrating the murder of American's looks like:

Browntwn, you are just as big of a racist and race baiter as the people you argue with.

The attacks on America were not Islamic. Get that straight. There are 1.2 billion muslims, 19 hijackers committed a criminal act of terrorism. Sure the scale of destruction was substantial, but no Islamic country has declared war on America, and no significant Islamic sect has either.

I have never said an Islamic country attacked us. Don't pretend that all the attackers were not Islamic and that Islam was not a major aspect of their motivation for the attack. (whether they speak for a minor or major part of Islam is something that Islam must debate)

I never say, nor do I believe that all Muslims are terrorist. In fact, I think that is an absurd proposition. I think most Muslims are peace loving people who care most about their own families.

Here you have swaymedia trying to portray Israel as supporting and cheering the attacks. The irony is that the people who did support the attacks and cheer the deaths of Americans were people like the Palestinians. Showing that photo to counter his claims is relevant and appropriate.

You seems to share swaymedia's feelings about Jews although with more a wee bit more subtlety and tact. Nevertheless, it appears you support his recent rash of posts. That is evidenced by your own silliness with respect to being shielded from charges antisemitism by your proclaimed conversion to Judaism.

It is interesting that you and sway have both proclaimed on this forum that you are Jews.

All of the attackers were not Islamic, and Islam was not anymore a motivation for their attack, than Christianity was for the invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Then why did you note that the terrorists were Muslim? You called them the Muslim terrorists.

This is nonsense. I am not racist, and I have never posted anything racist. I don't have a problem with Jews or Judaism. I do have a problem with terrorists, Muslim, Israeli, American, British or otherwise.

Your attempts to paint me as a Jew hater are the old "antisemite" smears which thankfully are starting to lose their sting in intellectual discourse, because the term and notion behind it have been exploited beyond reason.

When did I say I was a Jew? Source? Or are you just fabricating more false attacks on me to discredit my criticism of Israel?

Get over yourself. Your words speak for themselves.

Don't play this silly game where you pretend to be all offended. You have leveled many unsupported accusations against me and seem quite at ease playing that game. Feel free to put me on ignore.

calm down Browntwn nobody is trying to hurt you, you seem like paranoid?!

speaking about accusations, go back to the previous threads, whenever somebody try to discuss something you say anti-semitic, pushing the person to defend that he is not anti-semitic, and the original argument is lost.

I believe the question that been asked here, why does he see in such tragedy a benefit to Israel when 3000 lost their lives, and hundreds or thousands in Iraq, and Afghanistan, some even say 1 million in Iraq alone. Why do you read in it a blame for the Jews?

their claims of making the world aware of terrorism, did not make sense for me, because terrorism increased, and the amount of hate and divisions between people increased,

if Israel see in this division and bloodshed a benefit? it would be good to explain how?

Mr. Netanyahu says: "He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."

so, he saw the benefit here in the results of the terrorist attack.

when I first read the thread title I thought wrongly that its the old statement he made the day right after 9/11 when he said:

“It’s very good.” Then he edited himself: “Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.”

here was he expecting the above results when he said what means it was good?

not trying to blame any side, as you did when you said "Islamic terrorist", there were some important incidents ( and tragedies ) from which Israel benefited, some of them even been proved that were done by Israel like Lavon Affair, where Israel bombed American targets in Egypt to make it look like Arabs did it, despite they denied it at the beginning, and said its "antisemitism" it been proved later and they admitted it.

the USS Liberty attack and others.

I am calm and not concerned at all. I was talking to guerilla.

With the exception of swaymedia, please show me and everyone all the times I have tried to answer a question by calling someone an antisemite?

Please, I beg you, show me all my horrible posts. I can assure you that you will find that in most every case I was responding to someone else who was using that word and I merely commented on it. As some posters here do, they preemptively use the word to try and stop people from criticizing them! Ahh, the irony.

Take swaymedia for example. He thinks it is a logical impossibility for him to be antisemitic. Is is wrong for me to correct him? Is it wrong for me to participate in his myriad of threads on the topic of antisemitism? Is it wrong for me to show the definitions of the words?
