The Ottoman Empire lost the war. They gave up land when they lost. Israel was created on land they lost.

And if you want to get down to it then the land belongs to Israel because that area used to belong to Jews many many years ago long before Palenstine was even thought of.

Personally, I'd rather cut off all funding to hostile countries. Sink or swim. I'd much rather give aid to countries who are behind us and appreciative.

I have read up on history in that area. I love reading about history.

Again, Jews lived a nomadic tribal life. They didn't have a government, an army, their own settlements per se. They lived in the area, but they certainly were not the dominant power in the area.

So by that argument, I can't see how they have any more claim to the land, than any other culture or race from that region.
