Occupation of what exactly?? If you consider Tel-aviv, Haifa and other Israeli cities with jewish majority to be "occupied" by Israel, then yes call it occupation if you wish, but they are not part of any Palestinian lands and never will be.

lol, the point is Israel gave it up in return for peace agreements with Egypt. Many Israeli politicians refused that and still do. If Egypt didn't sign the agreements Sinai would likely still be in Israel.
