Its not a link switch. You posted a link to the THREAD, not a specific post. As a result, based on my forum settings, I ended up at someone else's post. You really need to learn how forums work. What you see is not always what I see. If you want to link to a specific post then link directly to that specfic post, not just the thread or thread page.
Your forum settings are not my problem even debunked got the correct page, it's default settings. Oh I am well aware lol The posts are linked individually above regardless.
I am finding him to be unteachable. The default was 10 posts per page and in the beginning I switched it to 20, now I think the default is 20. But not everyone uses the default. Learn to link to a post.
Well actually we ended on the right page, even though mia switched links, then you make silly claims like this one hilarious. Laurel and Hardy watch out!
I see we have problems with the feeble minded. Lets make it simple for you: I have default settings, so do you debunked (so when we link it's normal) Mia doesn't, or claims not to (he thinks the problem is everyone else) The thread I linked to was linked to properly. He switched the link (which kinda blows his settings theory out the window) So when you finished your act of playing simple let me know. But keep posting as it covers his incompetence as we'll soon be on the next page -------------- Default settings problem my eye: My post, with my link. His post, with his edited link. Link URL's don't change even with different settings
This has gone from funny, to goofy, to silly to downright stupid. Here is the link he posted originally: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1526561 That's the "thread" by the way... This is what I saw (note the highlighted thread URL YOU POSTED): Hell, even the link that Debunked QUOTED that you posted lead me to a completely different post in that thread. Stroh's I believe. You need to learn how to link to a specific post TooPac, not the thread. I am willing to bet just about everyone here has different browsers, operating systems, and forum settings. Now please can we move on? This is some really remedial stuff here. You should really consider finding a newbie or beginner forum out there first.
Default settings problem my eye: My post, with my link. His post, with his edited link. Link URL's don't change even with different settings It did as soon as some unknown educationally sub-normals entered it, that can't even comment on the topic.
That's the point Toopy... "THREAD"... You linked to a "thread", not a specific post. That's the point. Dude, you are really embarrassing yourself now. I'd quit while you are ahead. I did not "switch" anything. I clicked on YOUR link. The link to the "THREAD" as you said above. Number "1526561" in fact. Nothing was switched. That's exactly what you posted. No one can be this inept can they? Nothing was ever edited. In fact, your original post still remains, as well as the untouched quote of that post. Toopac, do you honestly want us all to believe that you do not know the difference between using an URL to reference a particular post vs. posting a link to an entire thread? Please stop this. You carrying on like this is making you look pretty sad. For the love of God man, KNOCK IT OFF!!!!
Is it something REALLY that IMPORTANT that you and debunked need to jump all over like clowns ? someone linked to a post, if you don't get what you were expecting than just ask about it ? don't you think anyone can make a mistake while posting a link (even though toopac did post correctly) ? is it a really a matter of the ego ? why not discuss the topic instead so why it is necessary for armored tanks to shoot at unarmed kids? we are still to hear your views about it Mia
Toopac, the link was not "switched".... I quoted you directly before you edited your post to ad the post count to the URL. Here is a screen shot prior to you doing that. Note that the link you posted is highlighted. That's because when I took the screen shot I had my mouse over that link. As such you'll note the complete URL in my status bar in the lower portion of the screen shot. Just to be clear, I'm using the latest version of FF on a Mac OSX Version 10.5.8
New, where on earth have you been? This was discussed, then discussed again, then beaten like a dead horse. Toopac never got it, could not figure it out, even when helped and coddled and prodded, he still had difficultly comprehending. My suggestion? Read the entire thread or leave. You're entering a discussion that ended a while back with one person unable to see the forest for the trees. We've already gone over this. Even my 6 year old only needs to here an explanation once to get it.
New, did you realize that the statement was clarified for those like you who didn't understand it? Go back to the beginning of the thread. There is no reason to keep asking the same question over and over when it isn't the question, it is the understanding of the statement that is causing the issue. added: Ha, my wife came in and I didn't click the button yet, so Jeremy beat me to it.
Really, have you given us in the very many of your postings, what you think the correct understanding is and why? Naturally, when you show someone a picture of a dog, and they (Mia, debunked) keep saying it's a cat but without any proof it's bound to.
Try using that link you posted a few posts back. You know the one that took me to the beginning of the thread. Start there and work your way to this post.
Here we go, round and round again, do you feel like a mad dog chasing it's tail? The link is to another thread
