what are you talking about and why are you still here? What "special friends"? And for the record, I do not want anything from anyone but my wife...so stop asking.

Well, Israel was built around Jerusalem, but before the land was going around Arab and Judah hands, if I can recall correctly.
I dont hate Israel, nor Palestine. I just dont like the way they do things by shaking weapons.
I think both of them are stupid and not wise. If they were smart and wise, they would settle down in peace and become trade partners. Who needs that stinky piece of sands the are fighting for several hundreds years?! GROW UP!

Tau, it is very difficult to lay down your weapons and live in peace, when the very people you want to make peace with would rather blow you up.

I guess so... However, if two great leaders stand up, there will be peace.

Just do a little bit of research about a so-called great leader who even got a Nobel prize. He was known for shouting peace many of times only to be a lie. Funny thing is lying to his enemy is ok because his enemy wasn't one of his kind. So if this is the greatest leader that this group had to offer who also won a Nobel prize.... than who could be better and actually bring peace?

(Yes my note is cryptic, just search and find out for yourself.)

the ones who can bring peace are the moderates from both sides. What we truely need is an arena of debate between both sides where they can present there side before the world so that everyone including the masses of both sides and us can see what they really want. I feel that both sides are very bullheaded about this issue and wont give in.
As for the plo we all know they arent angels(look at how they tried taking over lebanon 30 years ago). Innocents on both sides are dieing here, who is crying for them. Both sides need to scrap the extremists elements here and get to the bargaining table and bring a peace out of this once and for all.

Yitzak Rabin was the great man who would have brought peace between the 2 sides (despite that arafat guy), but he was liquidated under some very extrenuous circumstances.

How about the League of Nations, up untill about 1930 ?
The Arabs said - "No.. no peace with Jews. War unto death".

Ok... how about the British Mandate of Palestine, and the Baldwin decleration ?
The Arabs said "No. no peace with Jews. War unto death".

OK.. lets not get despondent... how about the UN, from around 1947 untill the present day ?

And the Arabs said "No... no peace with Jews. Jihad".

Any other world forums left ?

    Perhaps they'll organise renunion parties ? :p

Are your sure about that Mia?... Next time you add such bold statements, please leave your subjective judgments behind you.

Here's a quote from the Bible you might be interested in.

    Source

Oh well, I guess it's true what they say, the greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance - it is the illusion of knowledge.

Your last statement seems to fit your post quite well. You are quoting a verse from the Bible that was for a specific people at a specific time. There is no command in that verse for today or for Christians ever.

So your illusion of knowledge was quite fitting.

I come to think of two possible reasons why you wrote the above sentences.

    1. You didn't read my entire post or,
    2. You took your time to read it but you're actually too ignorant to understand the purpose of my previous post (most likely of the two in my opinion).

    Write a valid Bible? Huh?

Christian is one who follows Christ.

What I wrote was veeerrrryy simple. Not complex.
