well there are examples of terrorism where diplomacy worked (northern ireland for example or the separatist terrorist organisation from spain) so there's still hope. And the fact is this fight for Israel can only end in two ways: 1. one of the sides exterminates the other 2. they learn how to get along and live together I personally prefer the second option

They are literally surrounded by enemies and yet have fought off everyone who has challenged them. Although I must admit, Hezbollah would be a huge wake up call for the Jews.
