You can't really blame the person who kills the most as being "the terrorists", why were all of those palestinians killed? answer; due to palestinian terrorists attacking Israel, Israel has a right to defend itself. Even if Israel killed every member of hamas you could say "that's a lot" however they are terrorists.

toopac, its the palestinians that are defending themselves! israel has taken their land, entire villages have been wiped off the map, bulldozers come and biulldoze palestinian houses while people are still inside. These arent hamas house , theyre innocent civilians, do you then really blame people going out to try and stop this, although its not right can you not understand why palestinians would do suicide bombings.

Can you imagine what it takes for someone to strap a bomb to them and blow themselves up? an ordinary person wouldnt' do this surely theyre been under constant attack to actually get up and be happy about blowing themslves up.

Again, i'm not justifying anything, i'm just asking you to understand the situation.

If israel wasn't commiting such atrocities, they would have no propaganda to feed the kids. The palestinians arent simply saying lets kill israelis coz we don't like them. They have reason not to like them, 1000's of innocent palesinians have been killed since 1948 for no reason at all.

i am not telling lies, are you telling me the innocent palestinians whose house were bulldozed deserved it? It's you that doesn't really doesn't know whats going on. I am not anti israel, i'm anti terrorism and i don't agree with terrorism on both sides but in its situation its the victims (palestinians) who are considered terrorists.

    So when you stated:

You didn't mean ALL palestinians killed are killed for no reason at all?

In 1948 Arabs are ordered by their government to kill Jewish civilians in response to the creation of Israel.

In 1948 1000's of palistinians die for "no reason at all."

The more I listen to Muslims on this forum the more it makes sense that most terrorism in the world is committed by them.

The level of determined ignorance in the face of facts is astounding. They remind me of Edward Norton's character in American History X before he got tossed in jail and became educated by the people he used to hate.

    Wikipedia says:
"Israel lost about 1% of its population in the war: 6,373 of its people. About 4,000 were soldiers and the rest were civilians.

The exact number of Arab losses is unknown but are estimated at between 5,000 and 15,000 people.[71]

    Demographic outcome
On September 16, 1948, the United Nations Mediator in Palestine prepared a progress report for the General Assembly on the state of the war. It estimated the number of Palestinian refugees at around 360,000. The UN would later estimate that the number might be as high as 711,000. "

    Whose suffering more?

I have no problem supporting Israel, despite its essentially being a modern and arbitrary creation of the U.N. Along with several other nations in the region, the boundary lines were often drawn with little or no consideration for the cultural and political realities on the ground. Having said that, there are certainly cultural and historical (plus religious) bases for having a Jewish state. What I am beginning to have a problem with is the constant incursion/retaliation cycle, with all sides essentially gaining nothing except lost lives, disrupted economies, financial and psychological hardship. The recent (failed?) invasion of Lebanon by the current Israeli leadership and military probably cost Israel more than they gained, both politically and militarily. Some way needs to be found for the various parties to come together and compromise for the sake of peace and stability. Unless that happens, the same vicious (and deadly) cycle will continue ad nauseum.

The idea of a Palestinian state pre-1948 is abit of a misnomer - Palestine has a long history of being rule by others - Egyptians, Turks, and many others - apart from the period of ancient Israel - Palestine has never been a unified state.

What has happened since 1948 is a huge skyrocketing in the populations of both Jews and others in the Palestinian area. Prior to that time is was considered relatively unoccupied compared to the densely populated areas of Europe, India and China - obviously that is no longer the case.

If history has taught us anything it is that ownership of land only continues while you have the strength to fight for it.

Many peoples have been kicked off there lands before, whole nations have disappeared, and new ones formed.

I wish the rest of the world would stay out of it and let the Israelis and Palestinians sought it out themselves, its got nothing to do with 99% of the world and we should butt out.

What is unfortunate in today's global economy, it is near impossible to just stand by and let other countries kill each other.

Ignoring a problem is generally worse than getting involved in it.

In any event, if the US did not support Israel and left it up to them to defend themselves, do you really think that other countries in the Arab world would do the same?

So the Arab leaders call for the death of civilians and then you whine when Israel turns around and kicks the Arabs' asses protecting itself from government mandated genocide.

They should suffer more. Arabs today are still too full of hate and stupid to stop trying to carry out the orders from 1948. And they're shocked, shocked I say, to find that Israel still won't roll over and let it's civilians be murdered.

I think its ironic that normal palestinians are wishing israel would reoccupy the area and are fleeing to Israel for protection.

It's kinda funny that Fatah is whining about Hamas hiding behind civilians when they attack. Karma, anyone?
