    Hello,

I would like some suggestions on any good hosting companies that offer unlimited domain name website hosting on one account and also offer free vBulletin installation or installation from the cpanel.

I would say HostGator but they don't have Vbulletin that I can seee.

Any other ideas? Looking for easy to use, well known and cheap. :)

    Thanks,
    GG

You're not going to find any host that is cheap and offers vbulletin. Vbulletin is a commercial software system that costs $85/year or $160 owned.

On top of that it's doubtful you're going to find any host with an installer to do it like Fantastico due to just this reason it's not free software.

You're best to get hosting somewhere then purchase a vbulletin license from Jelsoft directly. If you're having trouble installing the script you can always ask Jelsoft for help.

I found this last night: http://www.siteground.com/vbulletin-hosting.htm , are they not valid?

I remember, about 3 years ago I used to host with StartLogic and they had Vbulletin that could be installed from the Cpanel.

    I'll keep looking, thanks!

If you pay more attention on that page, it says

    * vBulletin is a paid application, which you can purchase from here. Once you have a license copy for using vBulletin, our support team will assist you with its installation.

From Fantastico with cPanel, you can install some forums, but all they are free, not a paid application

Exactly. Also since it is such a common product most hosts have the knowledge base to kindly assist you with issues you may have with vbulletin.

    I see that now, thanks!

What would be the second best thing to Vbulletin, that is free. Something that people can leave trader ratings on.

phpBB version 3 is really sexy. You can check them out. SMF is a good one too

LOL, never heard of a forum being reffered to as "really sexy".. haha

HostGator offers phpBB2 so I might give it a try. Also Yabb but I don't think Yabb has a trader feedback system.

    Thanks,
    GG

You might want to try with phpBB3, not phpBB2, due to performance and security
