Isn't the word firefox a trademark in Adwords?

When I search for Firefox, i keep getting these ads:

And when you click it, you are being forwarded to this site: http://l-2-l.eu/

What i great idea I thought. So i ran into my adwords account, and added lots of firefox related keywords and directed them to my own "download firefox" site, only to find out that "firefox" is protected in adwords, due the trademark!

So my question is - how in the world can that site advertise on various firefox related keywords?

the only work around would be to get written permission from Mozilla to use the FireFox name to market the product. Once you have written consent you can present this to google to bid on related trademarked terms.

well actually, google is paying for the pr (public relations) benefit by paying out referrals for downloading firefox & google tool bar from adsense.
