As per dhpd22 its better not to transfer in INR, I tried in INR before. I guess USD is best option I would suggest to use both, basically I wanted to use MB, but if it charges $15 then small withdrawls will become expensive. Why US people can't use not sure but if you visit MB they doesn't support US
Again as I told all of you it was my first time that it charged me $15 for withdrawal. As I today again wrote a ticket to their support and I got following reply:- Dear Mr. ******** *******, Thank you for contacting our Customer Service Team We would like to inform you that the fee Moneybookers applies for withdrawing via bank transfer is 1,80 EUR. Be informed that the transfer was sent from our bank account in Germany and therefore it was an international bank wire transfer. As such it may be subject to processing and/or intermediary bank charges. Moneybookers does not apply those charges and therefore cannot be held liable for them. We do not have a list of the intermediary banks involved in the process. Please note that the fee that you was charged is not a fixed fee and it depends on the intermediary banks involved and their processing fees for international transfers. We would kindly advise you to contact your bank as they can assist you further by disclosing to you if they have fees for international bank wire transfers. If you have further questions or need assistance do not hesitate to contact us again.
and as I told Indian banks are shitty they don't even know about Paypal and Moneybookers when I go to them and ask about Paypal and MB they just watch like a complete noob and can't understand what I am saying even their HO employees can't understand the thing. However I have talked to Kolkata DP and they also said the same that the charges were imposed by intermediary banks.. I WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT AFTER 8-10 DAYS AS TOMORROW I HAVE TO WITHDRAW A BIG AMOUNT WITH THEM AND AFTER A WEEK I LL POST THE WHOLE THING HERE IF THEY AGAIN CHARGE ME SOME EXTRA MONEY.
Ok, kindly update us. I guess your bank is SBI, they even don't know about their own products/services except few people they may not know about PayPal or Moneybookers, you may visit http://paypal.statebank.org.in/. Mr. Vivek who is an employee of SBI knows much better than others, he may help you on this.
Dear Samser and dhpd22, you both are really helping all to clear many of the 'severe doubts' about MB. Thank you very much.!!
I think you need to take a closer look at it. They have never mentioned anywhere that they can do anything with our amount. You please go read it once again and if they can do anything with our amount they everyone of us can sue them. Talk feasibly lol..
